Access by the Media to Private Hearings

As from 27 April 2009 representatives of the media will be able to attend many private family
hearings.

The new rules have been put in place after very extensive consultation and the following documents provide guidance concerning the new rules, practice direction, the hearings that the media may attend, what the media may report and the procedure for exclusion of the media.
