Children In Mind - Charity Launch Event

Children In Mind is a new charity launching on 23rd January 2010 and this is your chance to become involved in a charity that will benefit the children and families with whom you work.
About Children in Mind
Children in Mind has been specifically developed to provide funding for therapy that is currently unavailable, for instance children and parents who need ongoing psychological support and intervention within the court processes and child protection arena. Children in mind will also provide funding for families who identify themselves as in need of therapeutic support but who cannot access acute health and social care services.
Launch
Children In Mind is launching with a Music Extravaganza. It will be held at the National Marine Aquarium on 23rd January 2010.

All funds raised will support the Charity Remits and be allocated to individuals and
organisations approached by Children in Mind and undertaking therapeutic work
with children and families.
Charity Remits
- Aim to help children get the support they need to resolve distress and feelings that can block their development and potential in adulthood.
- To recognise and reduce the effects of trauma/loss and acute difficulty in Childhood.
- To recognise the potential of therapeutic support in helping children lead more fulfilled lives into adulthood.
- To recognise the importance of supporting adults in children’s lives.
